PlugoSync offers very detailed stock history into 2 versions

PlugoSync provides a comprehensive view of stock history, split into two versions: Sub-menu Stock History and Variant Stock History.

Sub-menu Stock History

This section offers a summarized view of stock movements across all variants. To access it:

  • Navigate to Inventories > Stock Histories.

  • Here, you'll find a summary of all stock movements, including manual changes and order-related updates.

  • The information is presented in a list format, showing who made the changes, with timestamps and brief descriptions.

This summary is ideal for users who are not directly involved in warehouse operations but need an overview of stock movements.

Variant Stock History

For more detailed information, PlugoSync provides the Variant Stock History feature:

  • Go to the Stock Page.

  • Under each product variant, click on "View History."

  • A right-side panel will appear, showing a chronological list of stock movements for that specific variant.

Stock History Breakdown:

  • Orders: This section details the entire lifecycle of a stock item, from the moment an order is placed until the item is shipped or returned, reflecting any restocking.

  • Changes of Stocks and Stock Rules: This section logs manual adjustments, including who made the changes, the reasons, and the time taken to sync the stock. Typically, synchronization takes less than 10 seconds. If it exceeds 1 minute, contact the PlugoSync support team.

FAQ

Q: How can I receive notifications when my stock is running low?

You can set up alerts or filters on the Stock Page to notify you when stock is low. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Stock Rule section.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit the rule.

  3. Enter the desired threshold in the Low Stock Condition field. When stock levels fall below this number, a notification or label will be triggered.

  4. A "LOW" label will also appear next to the variant, making it easy to identify low stock items.

Q: Can overselling happen in my shops?

Yes, overselling can occur in any omnichannel setup due to delays in communication that prevent stock updates from being promptly reflected in the marketplace. However, PlugoSync has implemented features to minimize the risk of overselling and enhance reliability.

Q: How can I know when overselling happens in my shops?

To check for overselling

  1. Navigate to the Stock Page.

  2. Apply the "Stock Status" filter and select "Oversold."

  3. This will display any products with negative available stock, allowing you to address the issue quickly.
