Managing Staff & Access

PlugoSync allows for unlimited user accounts, enabling better workflow management and control over stock history, product changes, and order/pickpack history. Each user’s contributions are tracked, and permissions can be limited based on their assigned role.

Admin Role

The first person to register an account in PlugoSync automatically becomes the Admin. Admins have full control, including the ability to:

• Manage and monitor all aspects of the PlugoSync platform.

• Invite and assign roles to other team members.
  

How to Invite Members

Admins or users with staff management permissions can invite others to join PlugoSync. Here's how:

1. Access the Staff Menu:

   1. In the left-hand sidebar, locate and click the Staff menu.

   2. Click the Add Staff button.
      

2. Invite via Email or Link:

   1. Enter the member's email address in the provided field.

   2. You can either send an invite via email or generate a link to share directly with the member.

   3. If you choose both, the member can register using either option.

Once a member receives the invitation, they can sign up and join PlugoSync.

Managing Multiple Accounts

If a member is connected to more than one account, they can switch between accounts by:

1. Clicking the Account Dropdown in the top left corner of the screen.

2. Selecting the desired account.
   

Role Management

Creating Roles

PlugoSync allows you to create an unlimited number of roles. Admins can create custom roles with specific permissions to control what each member can do. Here's how:

1. Navigate to the Access Tab in the settings.

2. Click Create Role.

3. Define the permissions for this role by selecting what actions or areas the role can access (e.g., stock management, order processing).

Assigning Roles

Once you've created a role, click the Pencil Icon next to a staff member’s name.

Choose the appropriate role for the user.

You can assign multiple roles to one person. When multiple roles are assigned, their permissions will combine (union of all assigned roles).

By effectively using roles, you can ensure that team members only have access to the parts of PlugoSync that are necessary for their work.
